This is what happens when you don’t get a professional to do the job, they have used 22mm copper coupling on 15mm copper pipe and just soldered the hell out of it. 18 years in and this is a first for me.

Today I replaced a leaking hot water cylinder, I had to drain down the whole system as there was no isolation valves so I fitted valves so Infuture it’s easier to take out.
