We thought it was about time you got to know a few of the faces behind the work, so here's a little introduction to the team (and a glimpse of what they're really like on site!).

Meet Chris, Founder of CMA Garden Design 👋🌿

Chris founded CMA in 2005, driven by a passion for nature and a desire to create beautiful outdoor spaces that are both practical and functional.

His journey began at Merrist Wood College, where he gained his Diploma in Garden Design in 2003, followed by a further qualification from the Royal Horticultural Society in 2004. After gaining valuable experience working for other gardening and landscaping companies, Chris took the leap and started his own business.

His vision was simple: to bring together hard and soft landscaping techniques to create gardens that look beautiful, work brilliantly and stand the test of time.

Today, that vision remains at the heart of CMA Garden Design. With a dedicated team who share Chris’s passion for nature, gardening and garden design, CMA continues to create and care for beautiful outdoor spaces across both domestic and commercial settings. 🌱

Kicking off a project with a feline twist! 🐈

This customer is looking to turn an existing enclosed alleyway into a high-quality, modern, and secure "Catio" (enclosed cat patio) for two cats.

The brief is "A clean, modern, and warm timber-focused design that balances a fun, enriching environment for my pets with a stylish, polished look for the home's exterior" - they even used some AI-generated images to give us a more in-depth idea of what they're after.

We're excited for this one! We've started this week by clearing the existing area and will be sharing further progress as we go. Follow along to make sure you don't miss the final result!

Our primary school project in Hook is now complete and ready for students returning to school 🏫🌳

We've designed and installed a tranquil space where students can unwind between lessons - complete with raised borders and planters (complete with planting), benches and a picnic table. The perfect space for those who prefer a more relaxed breaktime.

If you've got a school in the local area and would love something similar (or have other ideas!) get in touch to discuss what we could do for you.

A recent visit to Riverside Apartments, Battersea, where our team carried out detailed grounds maintenance of the communal terrace planting. 🌳

Commercial grounds maintenance isn't just about mowing lawns and cutting hedges. Regular care of planters, topiary, seasonal displays, and shared outdoor spaces helps ensure developments remain attractive, welcoming, and well-presented for residents and visitors alike.

These roof terrace planters require ongoing attention to keep the box topiary looking sharp and the planting schemes healthy throughout the year.

At CMA Landscapes, we provide grounds maintenance services for a range of commercial clients, including residential developments, offices, care homes, leisure facilities, and property management companies.

If you're reviewing your current grounds maintenance contractor or would like a competitive quotation, we'd be happy to help.
