Quick question: do you know where your stopcock is?

The middle of a leak is definitely not the time to start searching for it. 😬 Your stopcock lets you shut off the mains water supply, so finding it now and making sure you know how to operate it could save a lot of panic if something ever goes wrong. Turning your thermostat up to 32°C won’t make your home warm up faster 🌡️👀

It just tells your heating to keep running until it reaches that higher temperature, potentially overheating your home and wasting energy.
