Built to be climbed. Designed to be admired.

Every home needs a staircase. Not every staircase becomes the heart of the home.

Starting with nothing more than a few inspiration photos from our client, this bespoke oak staircase has been brought to life by the incredible Marnick extended family. From the flowing steel balustrade to the beautifully detailed oak, every part has been carefully considered.

We're beyond proud of how this one turned out.

The Farmhouse.

With the clients moving in this weekend, it's safe to say we're pretty proud of how this one has turned out.

Taking a traditional Cornish farmhouse and creating a modern extension that sits so comfortably alongside it has been a brilliant project to be part of. The quality and attention to detail from everyone involved really shows.

A big shout out to CAD Architects for a fantastic design, and to all of our team and subcontractors who helped bring it to life.

We hope the clients make some amazing memories here for years to come. Thanks for trusting Marnick Builders with your home.

What a project. 👏

Big progress being made at our St Just in Roseland project this last month.

The team have been pouring the reinforced concrete retaining walls that will allow the ground floor of the build to sit naturally within the landscape, following the contours of the site and helping the house feel properly connected to its surroundings.

There’s always something special about this stage of a project — when the structure really starts to emerge from the ground and the Architects vision begins to take shape. A huge effort from the lads and ladies on site getting the pours completed and another major milestone ticked off

Proud to continue backing Falmouth Pilot Gig Club, sponsoring Fergus (of Ann's Pasties fame) for the 2026 season.

Gig rowing isn’t just a sport—it’s skill, hardwork, heritage, pride, and tradition. The same values our own craftsmen bring to site every day… just with a bit more saltwater.

We’ve also got two of our own taking to the water:

Director Jordan Smith racing for Falmouth in the Men’s A crew at the pointy end of the competition, and Opps Manager Josh on the helm this year, coxing the Charlestown Rowing Club men’s crew.

To all our subcontractors and clients lining up at the World Pilot Gig Championships this weekend—give it everything and enjoy it.

If you were interested in following the action live from the islands and cheering on the extended Marnick family, streaming links will be available via from The GigRower.co.uk socials over the weekend.

Up next, our Open C Crew, rowing in Carrick, kindly loaned to us by Truro River Rowing Club - thank you!

Thank you to sponsors Falcon Boating, Marnick Builders, Allglass Cornwall LTD and Falmouth Harbour, along with Ann's Pasties and StIves Brewery for fuelling the crews.

What a place to be starting the week — a stunning spot here on the Roseland, and an exciting new project now well underway.

Today’s all about progress, with a big pour going down and the team pushing things forward on site. It’s days like this that make the wet depths of January seem a distant memory!

Great work from everyone involved — quality, teamwork, and momentum.
