Would you know if THIS was building up inside your heating system? 👀
Most of the time, you won’t see it happening.
This is the kind of magnetite and debris a heating filter can collect before it continues circulating through your boiler, radiators and pipework.
Over time, build-up can affect circulation and make your heating system work harder than it should.
So, when should you get it checked?
If you:
1. Can’t remember when your heating filter was last cleaned or checked
2. Notice radiators taking longer to heat
3. Have cold spots around the home
4. Keep experiencing changes in boiler pressure
5. Feel like your heating isn’t performing as well as it used to
…it may be worth having the system looked at.
And even if everything seems fine, it’s worth asking about your filter during your regular boiler service.
