💚 WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN! 💚

After taking on the Macmillan Mighty Hike before, we’ve decided to put ourselves through it all over again — this time tackling the Northumberland Mighty Hike! 🥾

Cancer is one of those awful words that touches almost every family in some way. Right now, someone very close to our hearts is facing an incredibly tough battle, so this one feels particularly important to us. 💚

We’re hoping to raise as much as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them be there for people and families when they need it most.

And we’re putting our money where our mouth is… Buildvale Ltd will MATCH every donation made to our fundraising page! 🙌

A very special week at Buildvale this week 👷🏻‍♂️💙

We had our nephew Ewan up from England joining the team for a week of work experience… and somehow he survived the early starts, the constant slagging, and the many MANY milkshake and donut stops 🍩🥤😅

From sweeping up, carrying materials, mixing mortar and learning the ropes on various sites (including being allowed to fire nail guns 🤣) — he got stuck right in and showed a brilliant attitude all week. Safe to say he’s earned himself a spot on the squad anytime 👏🏼

Great to spend the week together and show him what the family business is all about.

Old kitchen out… and what a difference 👀🔥

We’ve taken this space right back to basics and completely transformed it into a stunning open-plan kitchen/dining area 🤩

A load-bearing wall removed and replaced with a structural steel beam has opened everything up, creating one large, bright and sociable space – perfect for modern living 🙌

From start to finish, this one was fully handled by the team at Buildvale:

🛋️✨ From Unused to Unbelievable designed by FK1 Design Ltd

This garage had one job… collect clutter.
Now? It’s a stylish chill-out room with large walk-in storage – practical and a bit of a show-off 😎

Completed locally at the Avanti site in Denny 📍

One of our favourite touches on this project 👇
We designed and built a bespoke feature, using acoustic panelling, to cleverly hide the electrics box – turning something awkward into something that actually adds to the room 🔥
