𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 🛁
Most bathroom regrets come down to the same details - mirror height, lighting placement, vanity sizing. Small decisions that affect how your bathroom feels every single day.
Here's what actually works:
🪞 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 Centre at eye level — 145–165cm from the floor too high and it throws off the whole wall
💡 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 160–180cm from the floor, either side of the mirror avoids harsh shadows and gives the most flattering light
🚿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀 100–125cm from the floor positioned so you can turn it on without standing under cold water
🚪 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 Standard UK height is 80–85cm - but 90–95cm suits most people better It should work for you, not just the spec sheet
🚽 𝗧𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 At least 20cm either side, 60cm in front anything tighter and you'll feel it every day
🛁 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹 120–150cm from the floor, within arm's reach of your shower or bath If you have to walk for it, it's in the wrong place
Good design isn't just how it looks - it's how it works.
