DID YOU KNOW? 🌳🦝🦎🐿️

When working in forestry areas, ecology studies are carried out to ensure we are not disturbing wildlife during our operations. These studies highlight areas where many different species of wildlife might be in residence. When appropriate, precautions such as exclusion zones may need put in place for their protection.

Here's a peek into a recent project. An installation of a bell mouth and turning point into a new woodland creation for an existing forestry customer 👀🌳

This project was challenging due to the fact there were some area restrictions including overhead powerlines and traffic management.

We worked closely with Aberdeenshire Council to ensure all necessary permits were applied for and in place.

Firstly, we dug out to a suitable grade into site. Then, quarried stone was imported from ex site. This was laid over a period of 2 days. We then carried out preparation of existing carriageway to receive tar as per specification supplied by Aberdeenshire Council.

We were proud to wrap this up as another tidy, high quality project completed earlier than expected and within budget.

As part of our clients' expansion into Scotland, we were proud to deliver the groundworks for their new depot and yard.

Over a four-week programme, our team completed:
🔴 Large reinforced concrete pad
🔴 Drainage infrastructure
🔴 Foul treatment plant installation
🔴 Dedicated wash bay

The project was delivered on time and successfully handed over, providing them with a practical, high-quality site ready to support their growing operations.

We're delighted our client was pleased with the finished result.
