Latest piece - Last stage shading begins! I'm a bit further on from this now, but it's coming together nicely. - The driving gardens of Catylon (work in progress) 😺 ✍️

Moving on with the new piece. Lines are inked and the crosshatch shading has just begun.. (watch this space for a short WIP video coming soon..) So yeh, still doing my houses buried in among foliage with animal-themed transport thing.. Plenty of cats! 😺 I realised I had to squeeze a few extra in upon my decision of what to call this piece.. Also, can anyone spot a secret movie reference? (one of my all time favourite movies..) I think I've managed to get a good 'overgrown plants' feel to this one.. - The driving gardens of Catylon. A3 ink pen. 🐱 🌴

Moving on! next piece pencil sketch finished.. Was inspired by someone suggesting I should draw more vans.. So, we get.. animal vans! (as per my continued style), yeh more cats.. Thankfully didn't take long to think of a title - 'The driving gardens of Catylon' (one of the wonders of the cat world? :D ) Next stage, line inking.. :) 🐱

Very early first scribbly of next piece.. I felt it's important to show this stage, just as I begin with a blank sheet of paper and a freshly sharpened pencil, flowing out the lines, finding the composition.. Even at this stage, ideas come for the name of the piece.

Works starts on the next piece.. Got an idea for roads among plants with a plethora of animal cars chugging along! Just started the sketching.. (y) ✍️
