I now offer an ai assisted design service (I got Chatgpt!). Slight improvement on my usual drawings! Very handy for designing media walls, custom built wardrobes and interesting storage solutions.

Good range of skills used ln this job. Last week fitted the kitchen from Exeter Kitchen Store, now awaiting the quartz worktop. This week I have installed the engineered oak herringbone floor, sliding oak door and oak worktop for the sideboard. Next week oak doors throughout the house and finish off skirts, architrave and kitchen kickboards.

This was a little side project along side a media wall but actually illustrates quite a range of services.

The first pic shows the understairs as it was. The client asked for the understairs to be opened up for their two dogs and after discussing the job I used chatgpt to generate the second image and ensure we were on the same page.

Third image is after I finished the carpentry and then finally I repaired the subfloor where the walls were and cut in and fitted LVT flooring to finish the job off. I had my decorator finish off the walls and woodwork.

A satisfying little job!

My latest kitchen project, there's a lot going on here! The shelves were made from some reclaimed oak worktop and routed for led light strips. They also float with no visible fixings. I also built the mantle over the stove. The larders are all trimmed floor to ceiling and custom fitted out to house various appliances. The kitchen is from Magnet. Thank you to JMT Wood Build Ltd / Carpenter & Builder Exeter for getting me involved on such a beautiful project.

My latest media wall for JMT Wood Build Ltd / Carpenter & Builder Exeter. Shelves backed with oak effect acoustic panels. Plastered for a clean, soft finish. Really enjoyed this one.

The Phillips Hue in action. Each section of lighting can be individually controlled or simply used as normal lighting.

This is my latest media wall project. Thank you to Carly at System Six Kitchens for creating the bespoke base units and oak worktop. The uper section is timber frame and plastered for a softer finish with floating oak shelves. All of the oak is rebated for light strips. To finish it off DB Digital installed the tech, light strips and Phillips Hue.
