Another roof completed and another happy customer. 👌🏼

This project included a complete re-roof using premium Brazilian grey-green slates, all hook fixed for a clean, durable finish.

The lower elevation was stripped right back to the original rafters, allowing us to install new insulation before rebuilding the roof to current standards.

Works carried out:
✅ Complete re-roof in Brazilian grey-green slates (hook fixed)
✅ Lower elevation stripped back to the original rafters with new insulation installed
✅ All leadwork renewed and professionally lead welded for maximum longevity
✅ New rendered firewalls
✅ Asbestos removal and responsible waste disposal
✅ Full scaffolding supplied and erected

Another flat roof put right after poor workmanship.

An elderly customer contacted us after paying another roofer to replace this flat roof, but unfortunately it continued to leak. Once we stripped it back, it became clear why.

The previous contractor had simply torched a 1 layer of grey mineral felt over the existing Sarna roof. None of it had bonded correctly, leaving the roof completely ineffective and allowing water to continue getting in.

We stripped both layers of roofing right back to the Celotex insulation and rebuilt it properly:

✅ Removed both failed roof coverings back to the insulation
✅ Installed new OSB decking, securely fixed with 180mm screws through to the structure
✅ Installed a brand new single-ply EPDM rubber membrane system
✅ Replaced the slates disturbed during the works

This is exactly why cutting corners never pays. A roof should only need doing once, and it should be done properly.
