Derek will already be a familiar face to many, a highly skilled and respected tradesman known for his quality workmanship and dependable approach. Outside of site, Derek also brings a creative flair as the lead singer of Devon-based band Carnaby Street, showing the same passion and energy that he brings to his work every day.

Derek has joined Philip Taverner FCMI to support our growing Property Solutions Division, further strengthening a team built on experience, reliability, and doing things properly.

Sometimes, it only takes a small moment to remind us what real community looks like….

Last week, a post from for the Homeless Plymouth - The Garage Cafe shared that they had received just two Easter egg donations. A simple ask, but one that mattered.

Since then, something brilliant has happened.

At our Meadow View site, people came together, quietly, generously, to make sure that children in need across Plymouth won’t go without this Easter. Today, Gary visited site to collect a fantastic number of donations.

This isn’t about one company. It’s about what can be achieved when local organisations and individuals step forward together, recognise a need, and act.

Turnstyle Designs are a globally recognised North Devon manufacturer of luxury architectural hardware. We’re delivering the refurbishment and extension of their new manufacturing campus at Roundswell Business Park.

Now week 10 on site, with groundworks progressing well, including site level reductions, foundations for the new steel portal frame extension, and PCU retaining walls along the southern and western boundaries.

Exciting to see the project starting to take shape.

Huge congratulations to the Withycombe U14s on a fantastic result this weekend!
A hard-fought game against Exeter Saracens saw them come out on top with a brilliant 38–31 win, securing their place in the Devon Plate Final.

We’re incredibly proud to support such a determined and talented team as kit sponsors. The commitment, teamwork and spirit on display is exactly what grassroots rugby is all about.
