When a customer recently needed a stairlift removed following the loss of a family member, our team worked around their schedule, at short notice, to make the process as smooth as possible.

Kerry and Kirsty coordinated the booking and kept the family updated on the engineers' arrival time every step of the way. Matt and Tom carried out the removal itself, restoring the staircase to its original condition with no trace the lift was ever there, and were described as "lovely and personable throughout."

The family told us we helped make things a lot easier and took a lot of stress out of the house clearance.

It's a common concern when people first have a stairlift fitted: will the staircase be left looking marked or different once it's removed? For lifts we've installed ourselves, this isn't an issue, as we fit to the stairs rather than the wall, so there's no damage to worry about. We'll also talk you through caring for your carpet afterward, so any pressure spots have a chance to settle.

We're proud to share that two of our trainee engineers, have recently completed product training with Acorn Stairlifts UK on the 180 Curved and 130 Straight stairlifts at Acorn Stairlifts Training Academy in Steeton.

This training is part of our ongoing development program at Hanover Lifts, ensuring our team stays at the forefront of product knowledge and delivers the highest standard of service to our clients.
