🏆 We’re BALI National Landscape Award winners!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Hooper Services has won a 2026 British Association of Landscape Industries National Landscape Award for our work on the landmark Armada Way regeneration project in Plymouth.

Our work has been recognised in the Soft Landscaping Construction (Non-Domestic) – Over £500K category—an incredible achievement and a testament to the skill, hard work and dedication of our entire team.

Appointed by our valued client, Morgan Sindall Construction and Plymouth City Council we helped transform Armada Way into a greener, safer and more welcoming city-centre destination through extensive tree, shrub, hedge and wildflower planting, alongside rain gardens, reed beds and sustainable drainage features.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing this ambitious project to life. We couldn’t be prouder! 🌳

Project Completed: Bath Police Station 🚔

We were delighted to recently complete a specialist fencing project for Beard Construction at Bath Police Station.

Beard Construction has completed the major refurbishment of Plymouth House on Monmouth Street, creating Bath’s new central police station. Officially opened on 12 August 2026, the facility brings the city’s neighbourhood policing, response and district teams together under one roof.

As part of the project, our team installed bespoke SR2-rated security fencing and a matching access gate, creating a secure and durable perimeter designed to protect the premises against attempted intrusion.

SR2 fencing is independently tested to withstand determined attacks using a range of tools, making it particularly well suited to sensitive locations and other sites where enhanced perimeter security is essential.

We’re proud to have supported Beard Construction in delivering this important new facility for Bath.

Welcome to the team, Hayden! 👋

We’re delighted to welcome Hayden Maule, the latest addition to our growing Fencing team who joins us with 4 years experience in the industry.

Reflecting on his experience with Hooper Services so far, Hayden said:

“It’s been amazing so far, honestly. The people are great, and the way everything is coordinated and organised day to day is fantastic. More than anything, there’s a genuine focus on developing people as part of growing the business—and that’s pretty special.

“During my induction on my first day, I spent time with Managing Director Sam Hooper, who spoke at length about the importance of having the right people with the right attitude. There’s a real focus on quality over quantity, which feels genuine and is different from other places I’ve worked.”
