A steep, tight site overlooking the estuary and the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth is both technically interesting and spectacular.

This is the kind of project we live for: restricted access, a fully exposed coastal position, real structural challenges to solve, and a result that will still be turning heads for years.

For clients who want full project management with their projects, we oversee the contractor procurement process, inviting quotations for the construction phase and advising on selection.

We provide site supervision during the build phase to ensure the design intent is being executed correctly and to deal with the practical issues that always arise on garden construction projects.

Despite the drought conditions, and searing heat this summer, our newly planted borders have done well.

It’s all in the soil prep, mulching and watering at key moments (with harvested water of course!) - all part of our Master Gardeners programme.
