Who says renovations have to be boring?

When our client Natasha asked if we could build a "secret room" in her daughter’s bedroom during her house renovation, we knew we had to make it happen. The result? A bespoke sliding bookcase that opens up into her brand-new, private ensuite bathroom.

Anyone for a sliding bookcase?
This was just one part of a massive 3-month project where we took Natasha’s home "back to brick," including moving the entire kitchen, full replastering, and all-new electrics and plumbing. She was so happy with the transformation that she said she "didn't want us to leave!"

Framing the features!

When you have a gorgeous original detail like this stained-glass porthole window, the room needs to be designed to show it off—not hide it in a sea of dated beige!

We completely reimagined this bathroom to bring it into the modern era while respecting its character.

How we made it pop:

• Monochrome Elegance: We swapped the brown and beige for floor-to-ceiling marble-effect tiles, creating a bright, luxurious canvas.

• Matte Black Accents: From the sleek shower enclosure to the heated towel rail and floating vanity fixtures, the black hardware adds a sharp, contemporary edge.

• The Perfect Frame: By adding a crisp black trim around the original stained-glass window, it instantly became the focal point of the room!

It’s amazing what a difference a considered design can make. The room feels twice the size and infinitely more luxurious.

For this full kitchen renovation, the E8 Services team focused on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. By pairing sleek, dark matte units with crisp white worktops and fresh wood-effect flooring, we completely changed the feel of the room.

The real star of the show? The integrated lighting. Our in-house team installed LED plinth and under-cabinet lighting to give the space a high-end, bespoke glow that perfectly highlights the unique curved ceiling.

Sometimes a space doesn't need a massive structural layout change—it just needs to be brought into 2026 with clean lines and a fresh, modern palette.

For this project, we stripped out the tired, dated units and replaced them with a timeless, bright white Shaker-style kitchen.

The Upgrades:

• Seamless Finish: We replaced the old tiled backsplash with a sleek, continuous grey stone-effect upstand and splashback that perfectly matches the new worktops.

• Integrated Tech: Upgraded the cooking station with a modern built-in oven and sleek black glass hob.

• Maximising Light: The fresh white cabinetry reflects the natural light beautifully, making the whole room feel twice as big.

At E8 Services, we handle the entire fit ourselves. That means the plumbing for the new sink and washing machine, and the electrical work for the new appliances, are all done in-house.

No subcontractors, no waiting around for different tradesmen—just a flawless finish delivered on time.
