It's been a long one working on the rebuilding of the timber frame on the back of this Norfolk farm house. Sadly the original frame had completely perished from many years of being encased in cement renders. Zero sole plate or studs survived and the brink plinth had also crumbled to dust. After many days and hours of work and a few blisters from the framing chisel, the house lives on.

Project from sunnier times (summer 2025). Complete cement render removal from timber frame house in Bishops Stortford. H**p insulation installed, savolit boards and then an insulated base-coat followed by a lime render finish. Breathable and lightweight giving the original frame new life and longevity.
