Why Autumn is Ideal for Garden Maintenance:
Healthier Plants: Pruning during the dormant season reduces stress on trees and encourages strong, healthy spring growth.

Tidy Grounds: Clearing away summer growth and falling leaves keeps your garden neat and prevents slippery hazards.

Beat the Rush: Autumn is traditionally my busiest time of the year!

Professional Stump Grinding Services

If you’ve had a tree removed, the remaining stump isn’t just an eyesore—it’s a subterranean obstacle that prevents replanting, damages lawnmowers, and can harbour fungal pathogens like Honey Fungus.

acs tree care provides a straightforward, mechanical solution to stump removal for domestic and commercial properties across Cambridgeshire.

We utilize specialized, high-torque grinding machinery designed to tackle any species or size of stump.

Narrow Access: Our machines fit through standard garden gates (down to 26" width), allowing us to reach rear gardens without removing fence panels.

Sub-Surface Clearance: We grind typically to a depth of 200mm – 300mm below the surface, ensuring the main root plate is destroyed for future turfing or paving.

Minimal Ground Disturbance: wheeled machinery distributes weight evenly to protect your lawn from compaction or rutting.

Safety & Compliance: Fully NPTC qualified and carries full Public Liability Insurance.

What Happens to the Woodchips?

The grinding process produces a mix of soil and wood mulch. We can:
Backfill: Level the area with the mulch to settle naturally.
Repurpose: Leave the mulch in a pile for your use as garden bedding.
Removal: Fully clear the debris from the site (available upon request).
