Exciting volunteer opportunity at dragonfly drama 👀
🌟 JOIN THE DRAGONFLY VOLUNTEER TEAM! 🌟
Are you aged 14–18, love being creative and enjoy working with children? We’re looking for new volunteer class assistants to join Dragonfly Performing Arts for our Wednesday after school classes and/or Sunday morning classes in Elgin.
Whether your passion is drama, dance, music or singing, this is a chance to share your enthusiasm, learn new skills and help our brilliant young people shine!
You’ll join our lovely team of experienced assistants and staff, supporting classes for children and young people aged 5–16. We’ll chat with you about which classes and age groups you’d most enjoy working with.
What could you gain?
✨ Hands-on experience supporting creative sessions
✨ Opportunities to help create games and activities, and gradually build your session-leading skills
✨ Training, encouragement and support from our team
✨ Confidence, communication, teamwork and leadership skills
✨ Valuable volunteering experience for your CV
✨ References to support job, college or university applications
It’s a great opportunity if you’re considering teaching, working with children or a future in the performing arts, or simply want to do something creative and rewarding!
You don’t need experience of assisting or leading classes. Enthusiasm, kindness, reliability and a willingness to get involved are a wonderful starting point. We’ll help you learn as you go.
📩 Interested? Email [email protected] with a little about yourself, your age, your interests and whether Wednesday (4:45-6:45pm), Sunday (10:15-12noon) or both would suit you.
Parents and carers are welcome to get in touch too.
Please share with a young person who would love to be part of our Dragonfly team! 🧚🏼🎭✨
