Arrived in York after an 8 hour drive. I picked up Craig of on route. Nice with a catch up as it’s been far too long. Attending a lime symposium Monday and Tuesday at York minster. It’s going to be a couple of very interesting days. I was lucky with my room in the Travelodge! If I lean out a bit I manage to see the minster above the roof tops! 🤣

An interesting day of surveying and site meetings. Working with architect and artist to start the process of selecting stones for a cathedral in Aberdeen. 180m2 of new stone floor, a new cathedra, a new ambo and alterations to the altar amongst other things to form part of the contract. In another cathedral in Aberdeen we will be doing some trials to clean the walls before carrying out plaster repairs. Both jobs are part of bigger schemes we will hopefully be part of in the future.
