Make sure to get a approved pest controller to deal with your pest problems they will have public liability insurance and will ensure the correct chemicals,insecticides and sprays are used to tackle the problem in a safe manner.
Always ask the cost of any treatment that will be needed, including follow up visits.Most pest controllers will happily give free advice on the pest problem you may have,look at their reviews and recommendations which will help you decide who is suitable.
Wasps are very active just now with it being almost half way through the season,the recent warm weather has definitely helped speed up the metamorphosis of the wasp ie egg larvae pupae and adult.
Don’t get Stung used a approved pest controller.

Lots of wasps about even had one in a deer stalkers shooting box he opened the door disturbed the wasps and quickly left I removed a large nest the following day.
Had a variety of locations for nests this week high up in sheds to nests underground normally discovered when strimming these are probably the worst type as you can’t see the nest until you strim close by and the wasps react usually leading to several stings.
Not a lot of ants about yet but still time

Been a busy week so far mostly wasps the warm weather has certainly brought the numbers up strangely still finding a small amount of tennis ball size nests but these don’t take long to grow.
A wasp queen can lay up to 200-300eggs everyday. The wasps go through the full metamorphosis egg -larvae -pupae then emerge a fully developed wasp this takes between 28 to48 days depending on the environmental conditions and the recent warm weather is perfect for them.
Wasp activity is now in full swing with a lot of activity around the nest with foraging wasps coming back to feed the larvae with mushed up insects the larvae then produce a sugary liquid which feeds the wasp and the cycle goes on.

Another busy week quite varied mostly wasps some big nests the best one was st Keith where there was a total of 6 nests within the loft space treated 2 internally the other 4 managed fron outside.
The warm weather is definitely good for the wasps be carefull if you have a wasp nest in your loft being in a confined space always makes tackling the nest a little bit harder,so would recommend you get it done by a qualified pest control operator.

Been busy this week mostly wasps with some mole work popping up a lot morewasp activity because of the warm weather be careful if you find a nest in your garden shed give me a call and I will treat it for you without you taking any risks.
