With a strong reputation for reliability, workmanship, safety, and customer service, we are proud to support communities throughout Scotland. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and committed Slater/Roofer to join our team based in Elgin.
The Role
You will work as part of a two-person roofing team carrying out responsive roof repairs and planned roofing works across Scotland.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone experienced in both reactive maintenance and larger planned roofing projects. You will be supported by the Slating Supervisor and expected to maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of roofing issues across pitched and flat roof systems.
Carry out roofing works in line with Scott Slating Ltd and client specifications.
Complete repairs and installations safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Liaise professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company health and safety procedures.
Work away from home when required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Slater/Roofer in reactive maintenance works.
Proven experience in planned roofing works.
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of roofing health and safety practices.
Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Experience Required
Roofing: Minimum 3 years experience preferred.
Driving Licence: Required.
Work Location
In person / site-based across Scotland.
