Completed roofing works including tower access scaffolding for skew repair. Skew: scratched backfill, applied two coats and brushed to a neat finish. Cope stones: removed loose stonework, prepared surfaces, applied stone repair, pointed between coping stones and dowelled bottom copings. Slate work: replaced slates on all roof elevations as required. Flat roof: removed old flat roof covering and cleaned flat roof and gutters. Pointing: raked out defective mortar and repointed where necessary. Velux/skylight: removed damaged flashband, prepared surfaces, applied new flashband and protective paint, and cleaned the Velux. Gutters and downpipes: cleared front and rear gutters; prepared and painted downpipes with undercoat and Hammerite top coat. Gable chimney: carried out repairs, installed a new chimney pot, applied two layers of haunching, and prepared and painted ladders. Chimney render: removed defective render, prepared stonework, applied two coats of render with etched lines and applied new skew. Installed six ridge flashing brackets. All work was completed with proper care and full safety.
