Fulltime Electrician required to join our busy team.

The ideal candidate must be a 'team player' and have at least five years good all-round experience in both domestic and commercial works.

Experienced in working from 'ripping out' to completion of larger projects and ideally experience in carrying out regulatory testing i.e. EICR, PAT etc.

Experience with digital diary management would be beneficial.

As members of SELECT we look to you to ensure you comply with company policy and those regulated by SJIB.

Our working week is Monday to Friday 8am till 4.30pm although intermittent overtime may be offered from time to time, flexibility to cover this is desired.

It is a requirement for every homeowner and landlord in Scotland to comply with new legislation for smoke/heat detectors by February 2022 which is fast approaching.

The requirements are:

* Smoke alarms in every circulation space on each storey, such as hallways and landings
* Smoke alarms installed in the room most frequently used for general daytime living purpose
* Heat alarm installed in every kitchen
* All smoke and heat alarms should be interlinked
* Carbon monoxide alarms to be fitted where there is a fuel burning appliance or a flue
