🔥 Garage Access & Under-Stair Storage — West Craigs

A practical upgrade completed for our customer in West Craigs.

We formed a new opening from the house into the garage, then supplied and installed a new fire door to provide safe and convenient access.

We also opened up the unused space beneath the stairs and fitted bespoke moisture-resistant MDF doors, creating valuable extra storage while keeping everything neat and discreet.

All joinery was completed with a clean paint finish to blend seamlessly with the existing hallway.

Making proper use of otherwise wasted attic space 👌

For this job in Morningside, we opened up the existing eaves in two attic rooms and built bespoke storage to maximise every bit of available space.

The new units feature:
• Large 800mm-deep pull-out drawers
• Heavy-duty drawer runners
• Bespoke Shaker-style drawer fronts
• Full-height cupboard doors made to match
• Built neatly into the existing eaves
• Finished ready for decoration

A huge amount of hidden storage without taking up any additional floor space — ideal for attic rooms where space is at a premium.

A simple upgrade that completely transforms a communal stair. 👌

This project in Grassmarket, Edinburgh involved supplying and fitting MDF wall panelling, complete with a dado rail and decorative mouldings, before filling, caulking and painting for a seamless finish.

The new panelling adds character, protects the walls from everyday wear, and gives the entrance a much more welcoming, high-end look.

This Iroko decking project in Morningside, Edinburgh started with removing the existing rotten frame and damaged decking boards before rebuilding the full subframe and installing brand new Iroko decking throughout.

Finished with a clean curved edge detail and hidden fixings for a seamless finish 👌

Designed and built this custom shaker-style banquette seating to maximise both seating and storage space within the dining area.

Features include:
• Lift-up lid storage compartments
• Full-length pull-out drawer boxes
• Bespoke shaker panelling throughout
• Built entirely from Medite MR MDF for durability and stability

Before ➡️ During ➡️ After on this kitchen renovation in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh 🔨

Complete strip out of the old kitchen and full preparation works carried out throughout. Walls were repaired, prepared and fully skimmed before installation of the client supplied kitchen.

We also fitted new flooring and skirting to finish the space off 👌

Boiler to be renewed at a later stage with a new housing unit still to be installed.

Before & after balcony upgrade in Caiyside, Edinburgh 🔨

Removed all rotten timber and old glazing from this balcony balustrade and replaced with new timber frames and reinstalled the cleaned up glass panels. Clean modern finish while keeping the incredible view uninterrupted ⛰️

Rotten window sill repair completed in Morningside, Edinburgh 🔨

The existing timber sill had started to rot and split due to water ingress. The damaged sections were carefully removed and replaced with new timber repairs, then treated and sealed ready for decorating.

A much better alternative to replacing the full window when the damage can be repaired properly 👌
