From the client,

We carried out an extension to our house back in late 2024. We looked at a few architects and decided on Iain since he thought a little bit out of the box, ultimately coming up with a design we eventually went with.
He drew up all the necessary plans, submitted them as required to meet deadlines and followed up with any querys raised. He also helped us on choosing a builder from companies he had worked with before.
Once the project was running, he visited on a regular basis, answering any queries the builder or we had.
I would highly recommend using Iain if you have a project to undertake.

Kind words from the client.

We used Iain Cameron Architect for a house extension and loft conversion. Working with Iain was a joy- he is always calm and collected and we thought we knew what we wanted- but he drew up new plans that made a lot more sense. Iain kept us right from the planning, applications, getting a contractor and keeping the work on schedule.
Doing any kind of home renovation is stressful- but Iain made the whole process easier with his calm, methodical and logical approach.

Nearing completion in north west Edinburgh. What originally started as an attic conversion grew into a 2 storey extension in collaboration with the client. Somehow we managed to create over 40sqm of new floor area without increasing the building footprint. Planning approval was achieved without a single objection. As the scaffolding comes down we can see the Millboard cladding which is a first for me and looks fantastic. Large sliding doors by Express Bi fold to the new garden room. External works and new relocated entrance nearing completion.
