At AGORA, we believe a home should feel connected, both inside and out. For this extension in the Grange, we redesigned the layout to create better flow through the house and a stronger connection to the garden. Large glazed doors open onto the terrace, making it easy to enjoy outdoor living every day. Simple, natural materials let the changing light and planting take centre stage, creating a home that feels calm, comfortable and connected to its surroundings.

Clean lines. In contrast to the decorative cornices and dressed stonework of the original house, our Grange extension is all about simple lines and forms. From the open-jointed charred timber cladding to the minimal kitchen, every detail has been considered to provide a calm setting for family life.

A sneak preview of our Grange extension and renovation project. This project was all about resolving a previously disjointed layout, reconnecting the kitchen to the rest of the house, and providing a natural flow to the garden. The hallway transitions seamlessly into a wall of full height units, with a hidden door to the utility room beyond. More to come soon…
