We've recently finished a project upgrading 11x traditional sash and case windows with double glazing, while also replacing 5x old windows with brand new uPVC windows.

To keep the property looking fresh and protected, all of the timber windows were professionally painted inside and out. However, at the client's request, we left the front room windows in their beautiful natural timber finish.

The result is a home that retains its traditional charm while enjoying improved energy efficiency, reduced noise, and enhanced comfort.

We're delighted to have upgraded over 20 original timber sash and case windows with double glazing for this B listed property in Edinburgh, improving comfort and energy efficiency while preserving the property's traditional character.

As part of the project, we took care of the entire Listed Building Consent application on behalf of our client, dealing directly with the council from start to finish. Once permission was granted, our experienced team completed upgrading the windows with double glazing.

To finish the job, our decorators painted every window internally with white eggshell and externally with white gloss, leaving the property looking fresh, protected, and true to its original appearance.

Another successful project completed in Edinburgh on a Category C listed property!

Our team carried out double glazed upgrades to the existing sash and case windows, improving energy efficiency while maintaining the traditional character of the building. As the property is listed, we also handled the Listed Building Consent application on behalf of the client, ensuring everything met the council’s requirements before work began.

As part of the project, we also manufactured and installed a new set of double doors, carefully designed to fit into the existing frame with a fixed fanlight above to match the original style of the property.

Once installation was complete, our painter carried out a full internal and external paint finish, bringing everything together perfectly. The client also requested a stained finish on the bay window rather than paint, and the final result really highlights the natural beauty of the timber.

We’re pleased to confirm that both our joiners and painters have now completed work on a beautiful property in Cramond.

Our team installed new double glazing in the existing sash & case windows, replacing the client’s old secondary glazing, which we removed as part of the job.

Once the installation was finished, our painters carried out a full refresh — painting the windows inside and out to leave everything looking as good as new.
