💙 A Cause That Will Always Be Close to My Heart 💙
Today, I want to share something a little more personal.
Recently, I had the honour of taking part in a charity football match raising money for Held In Our Hearts, a small charity that supports families following stillbirth and infant loss.
This charity means so much to my family because my beautiful niece, Billie, was sadly stillborn. No family should ever have to experience that kind of heartbreak, but sadly many do. During the darkest days that followed, Held In Our Hearts became a lifeline for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. They provided support, understanding, guidance, and a community of people who truly understood what they were going through.
The work they do is incredible, and seeing firsthand the difference they made to my family is something I will never forget.
That is why being able to support this charity means so much to me. But the truth is, I couldn’t have done it without all of you.
To every customer who has chosen my business, whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or have only recently discovered me, thank you. Every job booked, every purchase made, every recommendation shared, and every bit of support you’ve shown has helped put me in a position where I can give back to causes that matter.
When you support a small business, you’re often supporting much more than the service or product you receive. You’ re helping local communities, families, charities, and causes that make a real difference in people’s lives.
So from my family and from me, thank you. Your support has allowed me to contribute to a charity that helped my family through one of the most difficult times imaginable, and for that I will always be grateful.
And to Billie, your memory continues to inspire acts of kindness and support for others. 💙
