At New Life Group, we’re proud to support one of our team members who has started a petition calling for change to CAMHS waiting times.
After a family member spent four years waiting for an assessment, with little support or communication along the way, they decided enough was enough.
The petition, PE2231: CAMHS Staff Need Resources, Children Need Assessments, calls for better resourcing, transparent waiting-time data and maximum waiting-time standards for ADHD and autism assessments.
The issue has also received national newspaper coverage, highlighting the reality faced by many families across Scotland.
