A contemporary intervention to a two-hundred year old Midlothian cottage.
Since its construction in 1826 Wishing Well Cottage has undergone many changes, the most recent layer of history applied to the building is a new oak framed sliding glass door through which warming westerly sunlight penetrates deep into the house, while framing a view of the Pentland Hills and opens the living space up to a raised dining terrace.
Crafted by our friends Watson & Lyall and Timbertech from local sandstone and European oak.
