BIG & SMALL, WE DO THEM ALL. 🔋

From smaller domestic battery upgrades to large-scale energy storage systems, the principle is the same — make better use of the energy you already generate.

Through AC coupling, battery storage can be added alongside an existing Solar PV system, allowing excess solar generation to be captured and stored rather than exported straight back to the grid.

Flat-roof Solar PV installation in one of Edinburgh’s conservation areas, with Arthur’s Seat providing a pretty impressive backdrop.

With a location like this, keeping the system discreet was a key part of the design. The array has been positioned to minimise its visual impact while making the most of the available roof space and solar generation potential.

A great example of how Solar PV can be incorporated sympathetically into properties across Edinburgh’s more sensitive and historic areas. ⚡️☀️

Why pay peak rates when you can store cheaper electricity overnight? ⚡️🔋

This system will make use of off-peak charging, topping the battery up with cheaper electricity overnight when required, then using that stored energy alongside solar generation throughout the day.

A great way to get more from your solar and reduce reliance on expensive peak-rate electricity.
