One of the most common questions we get asked is: "What is the best way to heat your home?" 🤔
To help you stay cozy without wasting energy, here are a few top tips straight from the experts:
Find your sweet spot: Aim for a comfortable room temperature of around 18°C to 19°C.
Avoid big temperature jumps: Instead of cranking it up from freezing to twenty-something, just nudge it up a couple of degrees at night. Your boiler won't have to work as hard, saving you energy and money! 💰
Manage unused rooms: Got a spare room you aren't using? Keep the radiator valve on a low setting (around 1 or 2). This gives it a slight background heat so a wall of cold air doesn't escape when you open the door.
Make timers your best friend: If the house is empty during the day, set your timer for the morning rush when everyone is getting ready, and again for the evening when you're back home. No energy wasted while you're out!
We hope these tips help keep your home warm and efficient as the weather turns chillier. Let us know in the comments if you'll be trying these out! 🏡✨
