Six years ago, White Elm Joinery & Construction was just an idea.
Two men, one van and a lot of ambition.
After putting our own money into a van that cost us a painful £24,000 after Covid 😬, we set out to build a company based on one simple principle — do what we say we’re going to do, and do it properly.
The early years weren’t easy. We took on jobs that didn’t make money, projects that ran over, long days, late nights and plenty of graft. There were times we looked more like chimney sweeps than joiners! 😂
But through it all, we delivered.
Six years on, that same determination has helped us build something we’re incredibly proud of.
From 2 men and 1 van to a team of 7 and 7 vehicles, White Elm has grown into a company built on skilled tradesmen, trusted relationships and a genuine passion for creating great spaces.
Our team of joiners and bricklayers are the backbone of the business, and the relationships we’ve built with clients, trades, suppliers, architects, friends and family have been a huge part of our journey.
We’re hugely grateful to everyone who has supported White Elm along the way.
We’re still learning every day, still pushing for better, and still striving for perfection on every project.
Six years down. We’re only getting started. 🖤
