What pressure should your boiler be?

A boiler’s pressure gauge will usually sit between 1 and 2 bars when it is turned on (but this can vary based on your boiler, so check your manual)

If your boiler pressure keeps dropping, contact your local Gas Safe engineer

When were your gas appliances last checked? 🔥

All gas appliances such as boilers, cookers and fires should be checked every year by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer to help make sure they’re working safely.

Today marks the end of Gas Safety Week so use it as a nudge to check your carbon monoxide alarms are working, check the date of your last service and drop us an email to get booked in.

We also offer a premium service to check the whole heating system including radiators and valves, tanks, pipework and ensure everything is in order and no leaks or damage.

We’ve had so many emails suddenly with everyone booking their service for September and October so good job to those that have booked ahead 👍

Is it time to get organised and think about booking your annual service 🔥

A serviced boiler not only maintains your warranty but also gives you peace of mind that everything is working safely and efficiently, minimising your chances of it breaking down suddenly and leaving you without heating and hot water.

If your boiler is getting older, it may also be time to consider a new one. New boilers are so efficient and can save you money on your heating bills, paying for themselves pretty quickly.
