Well, this is certainly one to ponder…

Some of the existing walls are currently under water and, given the age of the building, there are no conventional foundations to speak of - just some stepped brickwork or stone beneath the structure.

Originally built as a utilitarian farm building for over-wintering livestock, we’re excited to be helping breathe new life into this very old Listed barn.

It needs a little love - and a lot of careful thought. Our challenge is to work sensitively with the existing structure, retaining as much of its character and history as possible, while creating a beautiful new family home for the future.

We're excited to see our project coming out of the ground. Designed to fully meet our Clients' wishes, this new home includes a large kitchen / dining room, utility, living room, study, bootroom, snug / sun room, and four bedrooms, including a main bedroom with en-suite and dressing room, a contemporary staircase, and a lift.
Due for completion Spring 2027.

Currently on site and coming out of the ground, these are some images of the lighting studies we've been working on for the living room at our project.

We use the software to not only test lighting ideas, but also colours, materials, and textures.

Home among the trees.

We're excited to share proposals we've been working on for a new contemporary home among the trees.

Developed using a range of media including sketches, card and balsa models, computer models and visuals, we've developed proposals for this home to have a light touch on the land where it will sit.

Working around the existing trees, and replacing a number of outbuildings, the new home frames views of the countryside, providing warmth and shelter for the occupants.

Great drawings and visuals by Yasmin, while Tim developed the initial sketch designs and model.
