And it's those details that can make all the difference.

Is your boiler ready for winter?
As the colder months approach, it's worth paying attention to how your heating system is performing.
Here are 5 signs that your boiler or heating system may need some attention:
1. Unusual noises from the boiler
2. Frequent pressure drops
3. Radiators that aren't heating properly
4. The boiler switching off unexpectedly
5. Your heating taking longer than usual to warm your home
None of these signs should automatically be taken as a diagnosis, but if you've noticed a change in how your heating system is behaving, getting it checked before winter arrives can help you understand what needs attention.
If you're in Chorley, Preston, or the surrounding Lancashire area, Croston Plumbing & Heating can help with your plumbing and heating needs.
Have you noticed any of these signs recently?

Autumn is here, and colder mornings won't be far behind.
Before you start relying on your heating every day, it's worth giving your home a quick check.
Here's your 5-point autumn home checklist:
1. Check your boiler
Make sure it's operating normally and arrange a service if it's due.
2. Check your radiators
Make sure they're heating evenly and aren't showing signs of a problem.
3. Check your plumbing
Look for dripping taps, visible leaks, or slow drains.
4. Check your heating controls
Make sure your thermostat, timer and heating settings are working as expected.
5. Think about those home improvements
If you've been planning a new bathroom, boiler replacement or other plumbing work, autumn is a good time to start planning.
A few simple checks now can help you stay ahead of problems and keep your home comfortable as temperatures fall.
Save this post so you can come back to the checklist later.
If you need professional plumbing, heating, or bathroom services, Croston Plumbing & Heating supports homeowners across Chorley, Preston, and Lancashire.
