🔥 Another week of back to back boiler servicing! 🔥

It’s been non stop over the last couple of weeks, with boilers being serviced left, right and centre as we get everyone ready for the colder months ahead! 🥶

One of the best parts of the job is getting out and seeing so many familiar faces again. It’s amazing how quickly the year comes around, and before we know it, we’re back into winter preparation!

As always, it’s a real privilege to work within our local community, looking after our customers and making sure their heating is ready when they need it most. Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re a new customer, we’re grateful for every bit of support and every recommendation.

🔥 A little tip from HeatTech before winter arrives…

We know it’s not exactly freezing outside yet, and you might not be thinking about putting the heating on. But now is actually the perfect time to check your heating system before you really need it.

Every year, the same thing happens. The first properly cold day arrives, everyone switches their heating on at the same time… and suddenly gas engineers are inundated with calls.

We’ll always do our best to get to all our customers, both existing and new, as quickly as we can. But when demand suddenly spikes, it can sometimes mean waiting a couple of days for an appointment.

So our advice is simple: don’t wait for the first freezing morning to find out your heating isn’t working!

Here are a few things you can check now:

🔧 Turn your heating on and make sure it fires up properly.

🌡️ Check that all your radiators are getting hot.

💨 Bleed any radiators that need it.

🌡️ Check your thermostats are working and that the heating switches off when it reaches the set temperature.

💧 Have a look underneath your boiler for any signs of leaks or water.

💧 Check around your radiators and valves for any signs of leaking.

🔥 If a radiator is only getting hot in certain areas, or you notice unusual noises, leaks or problems with the heating switching on or off, get it checked now rather than waiting until winter.

Getting a small problem sorted now is much easier than finding yourself without heating on the coldest day of the year, when engineers are at their busiest.

And unfortunately, when demand is high, you may find yourself waiting longer or having to call someone you don't normally use, potentially at a higher cost.

Our best advice? Get ahead of winter.

Turn the heating on. Give your system a proper check. If something doesn't seem right, get it sorted before you actually need it.

🔥 Another boiler swap completed by the HeatTech team 🔥

Another install, another happy customer!

This one was a little more eventful than usual. During the installation, we identified a gas leak that needed to be dealt with ASAP. We made sure this was rectified properly before completing the job, keeping the customer and their home safe.

As always, the job included:

✅ New boiler installation
✅ Full central heating system flush
✅ Parts and labour warranty
✅ Gas Safe registration
✅ Full commissioning
✅ All boiler documentation provided in a neat, organised file
✅ Gas leak identified and rectified

🟧⬛️The new merchandise has landed and its kept us busy all evening! ⬛️🟧

We’ve been getting everything ready and making sure we’re covering every little detail, from brochure folders for our installations to branded pens and all the bits in between.

It might seem like the small things, but for us it’s about making sure every part of the customer experience feels professional, from the first conversation right through to the finished job.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another five star boiler installation completed!

This one was for a long standing customer who had been putting up with an Ideal Logic that had become problematic to say the least. It had been repaired on multiple occasions, but ultimately, it was getting to the point where throwing more money at the boiler just didn’t make sense.

So, out with the old and in with the new!

We supplied and fitted a Baxi Main 30kW combi boiler, complete with:

Floors, surfaces and surrounding areas are all taken care of, and once the job is complete, we clean everything down and leave the property cleaner than when we arrived.

🔥 Another boiler upgrade completed! 🔥

We’ve had a seriously busy few weeks recently with boiler swaps, servicing and breakdowns, and this one was a particularly interesting upgrade.

We were asked to convert an old heating and hot water system that had a separate heat only boiler and an old multipoint water heater. The property actually had two boilers, so we removed the old system and upgraded everything to a single modern combination boiler.

The job included:

✅ New combination boiler installed
✅ Old boilers and redundant equipment removed
✅ Full heating system flush
✅ Manufacturer parts and labour warranty
✅ Gas Safe registration
✅ Customer service booked for next year to help keep everything covered under the manufacturer’s warranty

The result is a much simpler, more efficient system with one modern boiler providing heating and hot water.

Most importantly, the customer is really happy with the finished job, which is what it’s all about.

This one was part of a full heating conversion. We removed the old, inefficient and dangerous heat only boiler and converted the system to a modern combi boiler complete with new gas run and full system flush.

🟧⬛️It's been another busy week with plenty of boiler installations keeping us on our toes🟧⬛️

We've also taken some time out to visit the Baxi HQ for product updates and hands on training

It's important to us that we're always learning, keeping up to date with the latest technology, products and best practices.
