Health & Safety Managers, Facilities Managers, Business Owners…

Quick question:

If an electrical fault caused a fire tomorrow, could you prove you did everything possible to prevent it?
Because when something goes wrong, nobody cares about the sticker on the plug. They care about who is responsible.

Here are 3 common problems I see:

Missing records, Testing may have been done, but without proof, it may as well not exist.

Cheap testing , Low cost providers often leave behind poor reports, missed assets, and major liability gaps.

Last minute panic, Compliance gets ignored until an audit, claim, or incident forces action.

The real value of PAT testing isn’t the label.

It’s protection.
Clear records.
Reduced liability.
Insurance confidence.
Audit ready compliance.

If you’re not sure your current compliance would stand up under scrutiny, now is the time to check.

Message me COMPLIANCE and let’s make sure your business is protected before the questions start.

Business owners, landlords, offices, salons, workshops, cafés, schools… a quick question:

Are your portable electrical appliances actually compliant , or are you just hoping they are?

Most people only think about PAT Testing when something goes wrong… an insurance claim, a failed audit, a HSE question, or worse , an electrical incident.

Here are 3 common mistakes I see every week:

Missing or outdated compliance records

when insurers, landlords, or HSE ask for proof, “I think we had it done last year” isn’t enough.

Unsafe appliances hiding in plain sight Kettles, extension leads, chargers, heaters, office equipment — faults often go unnoticed until they become dangerous.

Downtime and disruption. Many businesses delay testing because they think it will interrupt operations or create hassle.

This is exactly where I help.

I provide professional PAT Testing with clear records, fast reporting, minimal disruption, and a compliance-first approach that protects your business, your staff, and your reputation.

This isn’t just about stickers. It’s about duty of care, liability protection, and peace of mind.

If you’re unsure when your last test was, or you want your compliance handled properly, send me a message today.

Let’s make sure your business is protected before it becomes a problem.

Everything is starting to click into place.

ServiceM8 and LeadZilla are now fully integrated with automated systems and processes running seamlessly in the background. Enquiries, bookings, workflows, follow-ups — structured and controlled.

Behind that, the business model has been rebuilt properly.

Clear processes. Solid Terms & Conditions. Structured RAMS. Defined review and referral strategies. Growth based on validation, not guesswork.

My mindset is stronger than ever because I now fully understand the numbers, the systems, and the direction.

What’s being built isn’t just busy work.

It’s a scalable, future-ready compliance business with long-term plans already mapped out.

Exciting times 😬

Businesses think compliance is a one-time event.

It isn’t.

You can review.
You can reassess.
You can admit something wasn’t sufficient.
You can improve the standard.

And still move forward stronger.

Starting again doesn’t mean you failed.

It means you care about getting it right.

🏁 Pole position isn’t luck. It’s standards.

I received this 5-star Google review today, and I’m genuinely grateful for it.

Not because of the stars —
but because of what was recognised.

✔ High standards
✔ Attention to detail
✔ Clear communication
✔ Equipment that’s actually safe and compliant

This is exactly how PAT testing should be carried out.

Too often, the focus is on speed, volume, or price per item.
But electrical safety isn’t about ticking boxes or sticking labels.

It’s about:
• identifying real risks
• making sure equipment is safe today
• documenting it properly
• and being clear when something isn’t right

Reviews like this tell me the message is landing with the right people — those who value competence, responsibility, and doing things properly.

Thank you to everyone who trusts me with their electrical safety.

If you’re responsible for compliance, duty of care, or keeping people safe at work — that trust matters 🙌

🔥 Fire safety reminder extension leads are not designed for continuous high load

One of the most common fire risks I see on sites has nothing to do with faulty equipment.

It’s how appliances are being powered.

High current appliances such as:
• portable heaters
• washing machines
• tumble dryers
• dishwashers

are not designed to run all day through extension leads.

Extension leads are intended for temporary low load use. When high current appliances are left running continuously, heat builds up in plugs, cables, and connectors. Over time, that heat can degrade insulation, loosen connections, and significantly increase the risk of fire.

Best practice:
✔ Plug high current appliances directly into a wall socket
✔ Avoid running them continuously for long periods
✔ Allow appliances to rest and cool between cycles
✔ Never daisy chain extension leads
✔ If a socket feels warm to the touch, stop and investigate

Most electrical fires don’t start with a bang.
They start quietly, with heat, time, and assumption.

Electrical safety isn’t about stickers or certificates.
It’s about how equipment is actually used day to day.

If you’re responsible for a workplace, these small habits make a very real difference.
