9 metres of closeboard fencing installed on top of an existing wall 👌

A great freshen-up for the customer, giving the boundary a much cleaner finish while adding that extra bit of privacy.

Due to the varying wall heights, this one required a slightly different installation method. Plain 4x4 timber posts were spurred onto the rear of the wall and securely fixed using 150mm M10 masonry bolts. Mortised posts were then fixed onto the spurred posts using 220mm stainless steel carriage bolts, allowing us to maintain the required heights across the full run.

Each post was finished with a single recessed band and 4-way top, as requested by the customer.

All materials supplied by AVS FENCING SUPPLIES HENFIELD, as always. If you’re in the Sussex area and looking for quality fencing materials backed up by an amazing service, look no further than the team at AVS FENCING SUPPLIES HENFIELD 👏

43 METRES OF DURAPOST CLOSEBOARD ⚒️

43 metres of 5ft 6in overall closeboard fencing, installed with the height raised to 6ft to accommodate the customer’s future plans for decking.

Anthracite Grey DuraPost posts were used throughout, paired with colour-matched composite gravel boards for a clean, modern finish.

We installed this using a face-fixed system with motorway rails, secured using 40mm A2 stainless steel screws throughout.

A massive upgrade from the old fencing — giving the garden a much smarter, more contemporary appearance while significantly improving the longevity of the boundary. The powder-coated DuraPost system also comes backed by a 25-year guarantee.

⏱️ 3-day turnaround from start to finish.

♻️ All old panels were recycled, with four kept aside for the customer to reuse.

Materials supplied by AVS FENCING SUPPLIES HENFIELD as always 🤝

Another big one completed for some fantastic clients 🙌

41 square metres of Eva-Last “Swiss Oak” composite decking installed using the hidden clip system, finished with colour-matching screws to all fascia and starter boards for a clean, seamless finish.

Completed in just 7 days alongside 15 metres of 6ft 6in overall closeboard panelled fencing with concrete posts & gravel boards… unfortunately we forgot to get photos of the fencing because we were too busy admiring the decking 😅

A real pleasure working for such lovely customers — and being greeted every morning by the friendliest dog definitely made the week even better 🐶

Swiss Oak might genuinely be one of the nicest composite colours we’ve installed 👀 What do you think?
