From bare ground to a wildflower meadow — in just one season.
This wildflower meadow was only sown in spring this year, and the transformation has been incredible to watch.
In just a few months, the area has developed into a vibrant mix of colour, texture and movement — with pops of pink, blue, orange and white creating a naturalistic meadow that feels completely at home within the wider landscape.
The key with a meadow is patience.
It doesn’t need to look perfect from day one. With the right preparation, seed mix and management, you can allow nature to do much of the work and watch the planting evolve throughout the season.
And this is only year one. Over time we plan on adding paths and areas for the clients children to play within the meadow.
Images captured in late summer but still plenty of colour!
