No sea? No problem!
Owner reported some steering Issues, we found the fault and repaired but obviously had to test it 😂

Sometimes something so small can cause such big problems!
Returning customer with a beautiful Spirit yacht, had an issue where it would appear the batteries died all of a sudden and voltage would crash.
We found an extremely hot terminal that when assembled from new, had the rubber cover trapped between the crimp and the terminal and it had melted!
Cleaned terminal up and re-tightened and now stable voltage!

We were called to this beautiful classic after someone had used the battery link switch, linking engine battery to domestic battery and it blow a fuse.
Boat has had extensive refurbishment but sadly the electrician had passed away without completing all systems, and it was finished by another firm.
The domestic bank was liFePO4 and someone had somehow missed that the link switch will link the engine battery (agm) to the liFePO4 bank which should never be done due to the 2 completely different Chemistry of the batteries.
We've isolated the link switch to prevent this happening.
