⚠️A recent job where a strip service was carried out on a combi boiler and replacement of the spark electrodes as they had worn apart and gone brittle causing explosive ignition.

⚠️On inspection of the boiler the test point plug had been put in by the previous engineer and the washer had nipped, this resulted in carbon monoxide leaking from the test point for a number of years into the bedroom where the carbon monoxide alarm was located too far away from the boiler.

✅Replacing the ‘O’ ring, spark electrodes, cleaning all filters/traps and giving the burner chamber a thorough clean got this old boiler back up and running and ready for the winter months ahead.
