There’s a lot more hiding under these stairs than you’d think…
What started as an awkward, unused space is now doing three completely different jobs.
A large pull-out storage section.
Hidden cupboard storage following the exact pitch of the staircase.
And a compact home office tucked neatly into the end, complete with lighting and timber detailing.
The important bit for me was making it all look like it had always belonged there — rather than simply filling the gap with cupboards.
Closed up, it sits cleanly underneath the staircase.
Open it up, and every bit of available space has a purpose.
Sometimes the most useful part of a house is the space you’re currently not using.
