BIG week this week with a project coming to an end which is great to see but a shame as it’s been a great place to work. Fantastic clients, great members who welcomed us and made our days go quicker and some great results with new trunking, consumer units, heaters ready for winter and some better lighting! Then it was on to finalising the install of 4 JCC Lighting spotlights with a PIR sensor and extractor fan with power supplies to the LED mirror and power supply for the macerator. Topped off with an external socket and hob install.

And for today it was 3 wall lights installed for one client followed by 2 new sockets installed for existing clients.

Day 5/6 of working this week with tomorrow being another productive one!

On today’s episode of ‘what I remembered to take pictures of’- 4 wall lights installed in Dunstable followed by a quote for a garden room, a quote for an extractor fan and to top it off, the installation of an external consumer unit to supply power to a garage and aircon!

14 of the finest JCC Lighting x50 spotlights installed as replacements for these old ones, followed by 5 smoke detectors, a basement light and a quick fault find so the clients bathroom light is actually 2 way switching and not a game of Crystal Maze!

A busy day across 2 counties today!
Assisting UK Power Network this morning, a fault find in Stevenage, a fault find in Letchworth and an EICR in Milton Ernest.

The fault in Stevenage was 2 external lights which have suffered from the recent rain we have had but also had incorrect cable used for external use- both safely rectified and no more tripping RCD!
Letchworth- fault pull cord for the shower (and the plumber had been playing with switches in a cupboard).
Finished off with an EICR in a stunning 4 bedroom property with some rather gooey cables!

Another busy day! 2 LED baton lights installed in a garage along with 2 external PIR security lights. Then onto removing some wall lights for an existing client ready for the decorator to do his part, and all finished off with an EICR!

Phase 1 of the rewire (and the start of phase 2) at the amazing Foundry. Gym Bedford near Box End in Bedford.
2x NAVITAS CIRCUIT PROTECTION 3 phase units installed, Sonos 300 and 100 speakers provided power and installed, all materials provided by Electric Center Bedford with more great service.

Last but not least, all completed with Freeman who, as always, has been an incredible help (especially when calling on his expertise in contractors!).

Another interesting EICR yesterday. Nice and simple to test but I don’t think that cable should be there!

Using Tradecert to make the recording of test results and production of a test certificate as quick and simple as possible.
