Quick towel radiator refresh completed in Dunstable today

We replaced the old towel radiator, tidied up the existing pipework and fitted a slightly larger unit for a cleaner look and improved heat output.

Shower Enclosure Overhaul – Houghton Regis

Full rip-out and rebuild on this leaking shower enclosure. The old tray had failed and caused damage to the flooring, so everything was stripped back and rebuilt properly.

Overdue service and repair on a Worcester CDi combi boiler in Leighton Buzzard

Full strip-down service completed, including new electrodes and burner seals, heat exchanger clean, diverter valve replacement, and expansion vessel recharge. Updated electrode design improves safety and reliability.

An older boiler, but still plenty of life left with proper maintenance.

Another reason not to use Ballofix isolation valves on heating pipework.

They’re made for domestic water, not heating systems. They often leak over time or when operated and their reduced bore restricts flow.

The system was drained down and they were removed entirely. New pipe sections fitted to restore full flow and eliminate leak risk.
