We’re growing our engineering team.

RCFE is looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join us, whether that’s full‑time, part‑time or self‑employed. If you’re someone who takes pride in building things that last, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be working on excavator guarding, tractor guarding & general fabrication.

Experience with CAD design or plasma tables is a bonus, but not essential, we’re happy to train the right person.

This is a workshop‑based role.

Start date is soon, and we’re ready to bring the right person in as quickly as possible.

APF 2026 was one to remember 💥

It’s not all hard work at the !

Sharing a few behind the scenes pics/videos…

We loved catching up with very old customers who we now consider friends, fun was had with the simplest but most competitive game amongst the team & a great post exhibition dinner on the Friday.

It was wonderful to have our supplier representatives with us too.

Thank you to our brilliant team, with special thanks to Kevin Templeman, our supplier representatives & contractors who supported us…we couldn’t have done it without you, or had as much fun!

This time last week we were deep in delivery…static & live demos, meeting new customers, catching up with old customers, sponsoring the Forwarder Driving Championships and more!

The show was a tremendous success and we are so grateful for all of the enquiries both during the show and since, thank you. We are replying as quickly as we can, but if you have an urgent enquiry please do call us directly.

Competition was hot for the Forwarder Driving Championship this year with all drivers testing their skill & precision.

Well done to all who took part, it was not an easy task!

Big congratulations to Jack Coombes of Coombes Forestry and Richard Court of Richard Court Forestry Engineering for winning the Alan Cobb Trophy for the best Stand at APF 2026

APF 2026 was absolutely brilliant & being awarded Best Stand in the Show at the 50th Anniversary Show never crossed our minds.

When a steward asked us to cut one of our demo machines because “she needed a word” followed by the full group of stewards approaching winning a trophy was not the first thing that crossed our minds 😂

Thankfully the team appeared & the stewards asked us to come together to deliver the fantastic news…

Our area, both RCFE & combined, had been awarded the prestigious trophy of Best Stand in the Show.

Located by the South Gate with live demos running throughout the day & the Forwarder Driving Championship taking place continuously throughout the show days, meant that when people arrived they knew they’d arrived at not just any show, but a Forestry show.

We couldn’t be happier & more proud. It’s been a pleasure to team up again with & to sponsor the Forwarder Driving Championship, and we couldn’t have done this without our brilliant staff either.

A trophy that will be shared proudly for the next two years.

🏆 The UK Forwarder Driving Champions 2026 winners have been awarded 🏆

What an epic competition it’s been; over 40 drivers took to the seat, both male & female, we’ve seen forestry families pit against each other, some drivers ran out of time and only one driver made it round without receiving any penalties.

What a competition it’s been!

Well done to all who took park.

Congratulations to our overall Champions 💥
