Great to see the Department for Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins visit our recently completed refurbishment project at Belfast’s Traffic Information and Control Centre.

Supporting a 24/7 operation that monitors over 200 CCTV cameras and helps manage traffic and emergency response across NI, this was a project where continuity was critical.

With the centre remaining operational throughout, meticulous planning and controlled, phased delivery were essential. Every stage had to protect access, maintain continuity and keep this vital project moving smoothly.

Our works transformed the control room and adjoining floors, upgrading layouts, fire protection, electrical and mechanical systems, and interior finishes.

Delivered within a tight timeframe, we created a modern, collaborative environment for the teams helping keep NI moving.

At this week's AGM, Alanna Flanagan of JP&S Construction Ltd was elected President of Dungannon & South Tyrone Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Alanna takes up the role as the Chamber moves into its next chapter, building on the foundations laid over its first two years and turning its Strategic Action Plan into practical results for local business.

Speaking at the AGM Alanna said,

"It is an honour to take on the role of President of Dungannon Chamber, and I am excited about the year ahead. I thank outgoing President Niall Maneely for his leadership and our voluntary Board for their continued dedication.

Building on the Chamber's strategy, we will continue to champion local businesses, support the town centre, advocate for improvements in infrastructure and planning, and deliver valuable networking and learning opportunities for members.

Partnership is central to our approach, collaborating where objectives align and challenging where members' interests require it, to help Dungannon and the wider area thrive."

We’re delighted to have completed works at Markethill Health Centre for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

The project has delivered modern new GP surgery rooms, administration offices and consultation rooms, creating high-quality spaces designed to support both staff and patients.

At JPS Construction, we deliver high-quality residential, commerical and public sector projects across NI and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who can lead from the front, drive performance and maintain our standards of excellence.

🔶 The Role
- Managing projects from pre-construction through to handover
- Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors
- Ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to spec
- Managing client relationships and project performance

🔶 What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience as a construction Project or Contracts Manager
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness (NEC/JCT)
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and manage budgets, schedules and procurement
- Skilled in Microsoft Project/project management software
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, ready to take ownership of projects
