Recent Project in Edinburgh
A contemporary two- storey side and rear extension designed to complement the existing property while creating a larger , more functional family home. The extension futures a simple pitched roof form with clean rendered white exterior walls, dark aluminium framed windows , and grey fascia/ gutter detailing to match the renovated section of the house.
The design maintains the scale and character of the surrounding residential area while introducing a more modern appearance through larger window openings and improved proportion. The ground floor extension provides additional open -plan living accommodation with increased natural light and stronger connection to the garden. The upper floor accommodates enlarged bedroom space and additional family accommodation.
A bespoke contemporary media wall designed as a focal feature within the living space , incorporating recessed shelving , integrated LED lighting, a wall-mounted television, and a modern inset electric fireplace .

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a range of construction projects, carrying out high-quality brick and block work while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities
• Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of building materials
• Build and repair walls, foundations, and other structures
• Read and follow construction drawings and plans
• Mix and apply mortar
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard
• Follow health and safety regulations on site
• Work effectively with other trades and site staff

Requirements
• Proven experience as a bricklayer
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good physical fitness
• CSCS card preferred
• Own tools preferred

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks on-site, supporting skilled workers and ensuring that work areas remain safe, clean, and organised.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist skilled tradespeople such as builders, carpenters, and electricians
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Prepare and clean work areas
• Move tools, materials, and supplies around the site
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Perform general manual labour duties as required
• Help with basic construction or maintenance tasks

Requirements
• Previous labouring or construction experience preferred but not essential
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• CSCS card (preferred or required depending on site)
