3 different plastering jobs..... 3 different challenges.
First one was to fill a couple of old spotlight holes before applying a bonding agent to the old original artex and then skim over with multi finish.✅️
The third was to remove the 2 layers of wall paper 😫 from this bathroom with the bottom layer having been stuck straight on top of the plasterboard 🤬 It took a bit of effort to get it all removed but we persevered. Bonding agent applied and skimmed with multi finish.✅️
Last but not least someone thought it was a great idea to stick some self adhesive foam tiles on their wall as a feature. They left a bit of a mess once removed as the adhesive backing wouldn't budge🫩 so we applied a hybrid adhesive and allowed this to go tacky ( pretty much like how the tiles looked🤗) before skimming over with multi finish plaster.✅️
As always, 3 delighted customers once again! 😊

A busmans holiday
Another caravan cladding job completed, this time for campsite neighbour's Stewart and Helen. The old boarding had started to deteriorate beyond repair so the decision was made to remove it all and start again. New pressure treated timber framework installed and clad with pine log roll. Hinged doors added instead of a lift off panel for easier access to the storage areas. The rain and the midges tried their best to delay the job but we soldiered on! Delighted customers once again! 🔨🪚🪓😎

From a dodgy deck to snazzy steps.

We recently completed this transformation for our delightful customers Mia And Ali in Crossford. Luckily the deck was never really used in the past, was beyond economical repair and really didn't take much effort to demolish. Once removed we then made a small alteration to the drainage system before we poured the foundations and set about constructing the blockwork to lay the porcelain slabs our customers had left over from another project. Finished off with smooth rendered risers with the roughcasting done to the sides to match the roughcasting on the house. Delighted customers once again!
😀😎💪

"You're only as good as your last job"
A wee landscaping job done down in Limekilns
Our customers were finding it increasingly difficult to tend to their garden due to the very steep gradient so we added steps next to the boundary fence to allow access from the bottom right to the top, built a shorter flight of steps and linked the 2 by a small gravel path.
The wee wall was built using stone reclaimed from and old rockery we dismantled. A second row of sleepers installed to help prevent the soil moving down the gradient. Path at the bottom of the garden added with posts and rope to give it that seaside feel.
We will be back down that way soon to do work for one of the neighbour's who requested our services when he saw the work here and heading north to look at another job for friends of our customers
Delighted customers once again 😀

A wee bit of porcelain paving.
The start of a garden renovation for Zoe and Richard in Townhill.
1 ton of type 1 sub base laid and compacted before the mortar bedding. All tiles treated on the underside with an SBR slurry and then pointed with tungsten easy pave compound.
Delighted customers once again! 😊
